Van is the deepest source of the romance, passion, and musical interpretations of spiritual mysticism that connect us to each other where we have "a home on high in another land, so far away, in another time, in another place, in another face...". Pure true soul

Who else could get away with the following interlude, let alone make it work? "You take it by the ocean. You take it on a crowded city street. You take it when you get it." - from LISTEN TO THE LION

This is Good Van. I don't care what he's done lately - good or bad. He was and remains The Man. The greatest Jehovah's Witness soul singer of all time.
