The 1960s were a time of social revolution, political upheaval, sex, drugs, and of course, rock ‘n' roll. San Francisco's music scene was in the forefront of the first counter-culture movement. Word of this lifestyle spread quickly, infiltrating societies domestically as well as globally. The accompanying poster art helped fuel the psychedelic views of the time.
