  • hrhanes Wednesday, November 23, 2011 4:33 pm I started tearing up when Jane (Leila the Snake) came onstage during WPOD. RIP Jane!
  • Anonymous Friday, November 18, 2011 8:06 am The Tubes are fine, swinging company indeed
  • Billiam Thursday, November 17, 2011 5:31 pm And, I believe that at 5:42, there is proof that women did not used to shave it.
  • Billiam Thursday, November 17, 2011 5:27 pm Of course, everyone knows that keyboardist Vince Welnick ended up in the Grateful Dead and then committed suicide. RIP Vince
  • Billiam Thursday, November 17, 2011 5:26 pm Saw them in Santa Cruz in 1976 and there were outstanding. Musically, they were not up to the standards of groups I was lucky enough to see before that, but who cares? The stage show was phenomenal with many costume changes and personalities on stage and the back up chick singers were a big part of show. OK, I am going to have to check them out 35 years later. I don't it past Fee Waybill to still be rockin' hard.
  • lbone70 Thursday, November 17, 2011 2:59 pm Hell yeah! Those katz was wild : and the New York Dolls 2.What a jam tho . Rock n Roll dudes
  • donkeyboy3 Thursday, November 17, 2011 1:15 pm Damn... they suck so bad- it's almost entertaining!! WAY ahead of their time- WV rules!!! ;-)
  • dennymc Thursday, November 17, 2011 7:52 am I saw them at the Bottom Line, NYC, in 1975 or 76, will never forget that show. It's a shame you don't get the "Jesus Christ on the cross" pose at the end of this video...(I guess they developed that later...)
  • jondog Thursday, September 22, 2011 5:18 pm Killer! One of the greatest Americana songs of all time. Finest social satire. What do you want from life?
  • Anonymous Monday, September 19, 2011 6:51 pm If this is the show I was at...They opened for KISS...definitely one to see live
  • Anonymous Monday, September 19, 2011 1:51 pm Just saw Fee Waybill & The Tubes a few weeks ago. They are still rockin' as good as ever! (Although, Quay's boots are a few inches shorter than the early years.) Don't miss The Tubes if they are visiting your area. They remain one of the best live bands ever!
  • Anonymous Monday, September 19, 2011 9:23 am Great song which brings back memories...we had Fee Waybill's couch in our house for a year while I was in grad school...where of course we sat while watching tv...
  • Anonymous Friday, April 29, 2011 3:23 pm One of the really unusual, yet vibrant and entertaining bands people tend to forget about unless you saw them in person. Long Live all us White( fill in your favorite color here) Punks on Dope!
