Concert Summary

Other than Bob Dylan's 1965/66 era, when he first embraced an electric guitar on stage, has a tour sparked more perpetual interest than his Rolling Thunder Review tour a decade later. Its no wonder the tour has become so legendary, as in addition to the long list of musical luminaries along for the ride; Dylan was at yet another creative peak. Having released one of his greatest (and most personal) albums, Blood On The Tracks the previous year and hot off the sessions for the follow-up. Desire, Dylan had an abundance of excellent new material. By nearly all accounts, the first…entire summary

Great show and great musicians! The only thing I am slightly disappointed in that there is no mention of the musician extrodinaire David Mansfield, who plays the pedal steel and the fiddle! I saw him lots when he was in another GREAT called Quacky Duck from the Bergen County area in New Jersey. I don't like to drop names, but Daigle and Danny Bennett, sons of Tony were also in the band.. great memories!

I think it was the day before this show that RTR performed in Burlington Vt, probably one of the most memorable concerts I've ever seen/heard. Bob is God

I fogot how real live music used to be. thanks for this true slice of life. T-Bone is still at this with his latest oscar, and Dylan should review this before he goes out on the road again, hiding behind a piano.
His vocal gyrations are magnificent! "Hard Rain" flat out rocks. 5 stars out of 4.
    now...the 2nd set please?

One of my top three Dylan concerts. Dylan's smoky voice and sense of timing are impeccable on this night. The versions of Tonight, Hard Rain, Romance, Isis, Never Let Me Go and One More Cup.. are just jaw dropping. Wish more of this show was featured on Bootleg Series Live 1975.
Thanks to all involved as this is my first listening of It Ain't Me and Hattie Carroll. Any chance we'll hear the rest of the concert?
