"I Second That Emotion," "The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage," "The Tracks of My Tears," "Ooo Baby Baby," and "Baby, Baby Don't Cry" were some of their biggest hits of that period. By the '70s, Robinson had his eye on a solo career, and he left the group in '72. Replaced by Bill Griffith, the new Miracles revamped their sound with dance-friendly tracks like "Love Machine" and "Do It Baby." Commercial success proved elusive for the revamped group in the '70s, however, despite those and other lineup changes.
