I saw them probably within a few days of this show at Le Chateau in Albany, NY, a great little club which is now buried under the lady's room at the Pepsi Center. Longer set, more old stuff, I remember a great version of Solitary Confinement, and I don't remember much from that time period. Anyway, great band, great recording, great fun. Thanks much.

I saw these guys in the late seventies. If I remember right, it was in Edinburgh and they were opening for the Vibrators. Maybe it was somebody else. It was a crappy place with a chain link fence inside the building for who knows what purpose. The ticket included a "free hamburger" which was a small piece of spam like meat on a little stale roll. I don't remember seeing more than a couple of girls there. I didn't think much of them then. I followed them for a few years after that and came to kinda like them. Working Girl is the only song I really remember. I bought one of their records (long since disappeared). This is a good recording with some songs similar to what the Clash was doing at the end of the seventies/beginning of the eighties. Heavy reggae influence. Some of it was more like what the English Beat was doing. I don't remember ever hearing them on any LA radio stations and I don't remember this broadcast.
