when did bruce conte and tony smith join? i used to see tem at the "inn" in cotati. my friend and i hussled bruce for guitar lessons,1972 right before he joined TOP. i told him he'd get that call someday!he only charged $5.00 per hour for the both of us. he was real cool about it . we were teenagers with a real good soul band in santa rosa. he gave us a break because we had to drive all the way to berkeley.

I found the Loaging Zone album in my public library and still have my Sweet Linda Devine LP - it still sounds so sweetly devine.

This is so.....good. Saw Linda Tillery @ The Cultural Heritage Choir two weeks ago @ La Pena in Bezerkeley.. We brought the Loading Zone to my High School (Irvington High in Fremont) in like 71 or 72....light show and all. anyway....Sweet Linda Divine Lives! She's beautiful. And this band was off the hook. love, Bruce

The first three tracks are the end of the first set, and the balance seems to be the complete second set. This tape is the best of the three nights on Wolfgangs Vault. Believe it or not, the Loading Zone reformed and played Berkeley last night (really--8.14.08 at the Freight and Salvage), although it was a different, later lineup.
