Thanks so much for putting these Loading Zone shows on the site. A marvelous underrated conglomeration of soul, jazz and psychedelic influences, these folks deserve a ton of credit. Founded by Fauerso in 1965, they were arguably the first Bay Area "horn" band. Tower of Power, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chicago, and Cold Blood among others all came later. I know their first album was criticized even by some band members but I absolutely love it. One of my all-time favorite albums of the era. It's an aural work of art in my opinion. Tight, crisp, imaginative arrangements and a great recording throughout. If you can find a copy get it. I wore out the vinyl years ago and happily discovered a CD version.
