In 1966 I was watching Captain Kangaroo, but I still enjoy the Byrds now. By the way, the fourth paragraph of the summary is messed up. Thanks for continuing to put up new (old) stuff.

excellent. i can enjoy the byrds now. but in 1966, i was appalled at the band's direction. the psychedelic area seemed wide open (to me) and here they were trying to be country. and country was trying to become bad taste and disco. today, i think that if dylan had simply wrote and the byrds performed his work, we would have a musical era, instead of trying to reassemble byrd parts. you can call him "jim" or you can call him "roger", but he's still the greatest.
