Lembro quando o cineata Rog?rio Sganzerla viu MCGUINN cantando numa tarde de neve numa encruzilhada. Uma das hist?rias mais emocionantes desse cara. Simply The Byrds!!!!!!

McGuinn and Clarence White, one of the all time great lineups of talent. Clarence's stringbender still blows me away to this day! God Bless the Byrds! "Wild" Bill Cody

A hidden gem for certain. I saw this makeup of the Byrds in Phila but the sound engineer's system sucked as compared to whomever recorded this. Yes, the vocals are weak in 1st 2 tracks (what were their record meters reading ?) but 8 miles high was awesome to counter those errors.

Imagine forty years has gone by. It feels like yesterday, and the songs hold up.

Some of these tunes are put over so darn well, and the guitar parts are as crisp as can be. To me the real jams are in the harmonic twists of McGuinn's unique arrangements. I wish some of the tags had been extended where they were really soaring, but that's just me.
