RIP Levon. I will sure miss you and the music you made so well. Keep playing those drums up there in heaven. Sad day in music.

Absolutely stone cold wonderful. Hard to believe how good they were. Even without Robbie they were still stupendous. Ridiculously rich, soulful, funky grooves. This is so fabulous to have available. Wolfie's legacy rocks on.

You should also watch them perform "Long Black Veil"...Levon on mandolin, Garth on accordion, Rick Danko on lead vocals, and Richard Manuel on drums! Excellent song.

They don't quite sound the same without Robbie Robertson.

Richard Manuel ensured Justin Bieber could never be the best to come out of Stratford. :) R.I.P Rick

As ONLY The Band could do it. They all look and sound so fabulous. This is exactly how I always want to remember them.

What an evening at the Civic Center! The opening musical act for the Grateful Dead on New Years Eve was usually a surprise so when Bill Graham Introduced "The Band" the place went wild. What a fun set they played! Can't wait to see the Dead's performance from this night, which had some great moments too. Thanks Vault!
