Saw Eric Burdon at the Emerald Queen Casino a couple years back (2009 ?). They almost had to wheel him out (not really). Good Show. Back in mid-60's I was pretty much a Beatles kid like everyone else and didn't pay too much attention to anyone else (Maybe the Dave Clark 5). But in retrospect, the Animals were certainly a seminal band. I listen to them now every so often and enjoy the hell out of them!!

Eric Burden and the Animals were a great rock 'n' roll band. What happened to this type of energy (talent?) and drive in music? Where'd it go? Who today comes anywhere near to connecting to their music?

This show is from the second reunion tour of original members in 1983 that saw the release of the critically acclaimed "Ark." The Aninmals were one of the great, underrated Brit Invasion bands. They could still rock it hard all those years later. Thanks for posting!
