Concert Summary

Following their memorable performance in the Woodstock movie, this recording captures Ten Years After as a major headlining act at the peak of international stardom. Recorded by renowned engineer Eddie Kramer on a Scully 8-track machine, and sourced from digital mix-downs done for Columbia over 30 years later, this Fillmore West show is of phenomenal quality.

After Bill Graham introduces the band members individually, the set opens with a solid…entire summary

Sometimes Alvin's vocals remind even Jim Morrison, listen at least to I Can't Keep From Crying Sometimes.

TNX to all of you at WV for another TYA show ! Alas, this is the well-known and officially released double live CD... BUT, you obviously still got good ol' Capt'n Speedfingers and His Mates TYA on your radar. GOOD! If you dig deep into your ...er, vaults I'm sure you may find some more TYA of old. Humm, do you think it may be possible to find the COMPLETE May 8, 1973 Orlando show? The 40 min. you offer currently sound fantastic (and offer 2 more tracks than the orig. Aug. 5, 1973 KBFH b'cast), but that just whets my (and perhaps some others') appetite... TNX up front. WV ahoy! Th:-)mas

I have just listen to this music and I can confirm that it is same that is on the set "Live at Fillmore East". Unfortunately, concert vault does not have other sets with this sound quality.

Thanks lamermichel I get all that, my point is if this is CD 1 from "Live At Fillmore East" it is released so we can just buy it and if it is CD 1 it isn't from the 27th but a mix of both nights. In fact I believe most of that released cd came from the 28th. I'm sorry I would have wished that they would put up one or all of the four sets they played over the two nights, like they have done with the Jefferson Airplane or Grateful Dead stuff.

Hey Mountain_tour_archive this is not surprising as the double CD set "Live at Fillmore East" was recorded live on 27 and 28 as stated on the CD sleeve. And it's impossible to hear a better sound than on this CD !

This looks like CD 1 from the released "Live At The Fillmore East" CD.
