WOLFGANG'S VAULT LAUNCHES VAULT RADIO, UNLOCKING VIRGIN AUDIO FROM LEGENDARY MUSIC PROMOTER BILL GRAHAM'S ORIGINAL COLLECTION
Online radio will play live audio and video recordings from classic musical performances
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 8, 2006)--Wolfgang's Vault, the world's premier online site for live concert music and memorabilia, announces the launch of Vault Radio. Vault Radio is the first-ever continual live stream of previously unreleased audio from the original archives of legendary music promoter Bill Graham.
Each week, the playlist will include 70-80 previously unreleased songs by legendary artists like Jefferson Airplane, Bob Marley, the Who, Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers that were recorded live at concerts from the '60s to the present. Songs will change weekly, allowing the public an opportunity to listen to the more than 5,000 never-before-heard selections in the archive. With each song, an authentic poster or print from the actual concert or performer will appear on the Radio Player and detail the concert, artist and venue. Vault Radio also offers a feedback forum where listeners can share memories and comments with other music aficionados worldwide.
"As the leader in online sales of rock and roll memorabilia," says Bill Sagan, the CEO of Wolfgang's Vault, "we understand the value of these incredible audio recordings and want to share them with music lovers globally. This is only our first step in unlocking the enormous content of Wolfgang's Vault. We eventually plan to make these audio and video recordings available for downloads."
