Concert Summary

Although this show was billed as a "Woodstock Reunion," it was not really a reunion, because out of all the acts that played the original festival only a handful made this show. In some cases, only one member of a band showed up—such as Stills, who was representing CSN—and furthermore, it was not at the site where the 1969 celebration of peace, love, and music had actually taken place.

Although Woodstock had only happened a mere decade earlier, the hope was another magical musical moment would once again rock history. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Although Stills, John…entire summary

Steve Stills is perhaps the most under-rated guitar player on Earth. What a shame...this guy can slay the best, if not all of them.

He is so wonderful I got to see him at the Greek theater in June this year and he was wonderful and has never lost that wonderful sparkle. I have loved him since Woodstock and has folloed his career all these years and I think the world of him and was told he thinks the world of his fans so we matter to him Guys Just thought you all would like to know.

Man I hate to see (and hear) my heroes age. Stills in 2008 is no match guitar-wise and vocal-wise as he was in these great years gone by. Age happens to everyone but it's the smart ones who pull out of the gig when it's time to. It's time.

On "Treetop Flyer" Stills introduces a different band from what you have: Michael Finnegan, Gerald Johnson, Gerry Tolman, Billy Meeker, John Sebastian. Keys, bass, guitar and drums respectively. Not sure about Sebastian!

I remember when this was first broadcast - a 2 part King Biscuit. Stills & The Danko/Butterfield Band were the highlights. Would love to see either of those portions available for download. Thanks!
