For this show at Seattle's Paramount Theatre, Stills decided to strip it down to the basics, using only acoustic guitars and a piano.

Opening with the catchy pop hit, "Change Partners," originally from the Stills 2 solo album, he quickly moves into "Know You Got To Run," "Treetop Flyer," and the song, "Myth Of Sisyphus." Stills offers up an acoustic version of the old Robert Johnson and Cream blues classic, "Crossroads," and a brilliant acoustic play on the Chuck Berry classic, "You Can't Catch Me." He ends with his gorgeous acoustic ballad, "4 + 20," a song named "Word Game," and the future CSN standard, "Daylight Again" which is part of a medley with "Find The Cost Of Freedom."

After finding early success in Buffalo Springfield in 1966, Stephen Stills (along with fellow band member, Neil Young) departed to form the first U.S. supergroup, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, with former Hollies vocalist Graham Nash and David Crosby from the Byrds. The first album (which did not include Young), and the second LP (which did), Déjà Vu, spawned numerous hit singles, and an unforgettable double live album entitled Four Way Street catapulted CSNY to the top of the vocal group pyramid. CSN and CSNY would have tumultuous life spans, with egos, drugs, and paranoia causing difficult relationships and mediocre album releases.

Stills has remained an active member of CSN and CSNY ever since, and has also found time to continue recording and touring on his own.
