Concert Summary

After a lengthy and profitable CSNY reunion trek in the summer of 1974, Stephen Stills got back into action with this tour, conducted without any of his previous bandmates or any supplemental musicians whatsoever. For this show at Seattle's Paramount Theatre, Stills decided to strip it down to the basics, using only acoustic guitars and a piano.

Opening with the catchy pop hit, "Change Partners," originally from the Stills 2 solo album, he quickly moves into "Know You Got To Run," "Treetop Flyer," and the song, "Myth Of Sisyphus." Stills offers up an acoustic version of the…entire summary

No comparison to eric, jorma or Leo Kottke, different styles. I know, I play better than all of them

Just saw him last night in Denver and he sounded just like this concert. He slurred a word or tone but he can still hit those high notes. Absolutely phenomenal

Eric, Jorma and Leo WHO? Come on, to compare that group of guitarists is just wrong. Let Stephen stand on his own. He's got the legs for it.

Bruggerlars! Is there really a Stephen Stills Box set coming out? Do you know where I can read about it?

some of the definitive versions of songs. crossroads; a great daylight again unlike any other i know. this blows away the acoustic side of his live album that atlantic put out. i hope that his coming box set contains the best of his live career. he often outdoes his albums in concert on a good night. of course, on a bad night.........
