Results for XX is the kind of band that was too cool for mainstream but instead inspired musical greats like Eddie Vedder to pursue a rock 'n' roll path. Formed in Los Angeles in the late 1970s, X was a band of underground punk professionals who sweetened clubs with their So Cal rebellion. X was discovered by ex-Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek and swept into a studio to record the album Los Angeles in 1980. The release marked the beginning of their prominent "punk band" status in and around the LA area. X members' creative juices bubbled beyond the rock band, and some of them dabbled in acting and poetry.
