Would you guys respect me less if I told you that, for my money, the most exciting thing going on in the music industry is featured twice a week on national television? It would, wouldn’t it? Publicity stunt or not, that the Black Lips braved a veritable war zone to play a show for some kids is a pretty significant thing for a band that made a name for themselves swapping bodily fluids on stage while playing blistering, psyched-out hillbilly punk-rock.
