Results for The MiraclesLead by the sweet vocals of Smokey Robinson, the Miracles were one of Motown's most consistent acts, entering the Top 40 25 times over during the course of the 1960s. "I Second That Emotion," "The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage," "The Tracks of My Tears," "Ooo Baby Baby," and "Baby, Baby Don't Cry" were some of their biggest hits of that period. By the '70s, Robinson had his eye on a solo career, and he left the group in '72. Replaced by Bill Griffith, the new Miracles revamped their sound with dance-friendly tracks like "Love Machine" and "Do It Baby." Commercial success proved elusive for the revamped group in the '70s, however, despite those and other lineup changes. The Miracles are probably best remembered for their contribution to doo-wop and Motown and, of course, for Smokey Robinson.“more
