Results for The Band

The beginning of The Band dates to the late 1950s when they performed with Ronnie Hawkins as the Hawks. Members Robbie Robertson, Richard Manuel, Levon Helm and Rick Danko became Bob Dylan's Band but changed their name to The Band following Dylan's '66 motorcycle accident. The Dylan protegees had a down-home rock approach that peaked in popularity from 1968 through '75.
