King Crimson was one of music's most notable progressive rock bands. Formed as a vehicle for guitar mastermind Robert Fripp in the late 1960s, they have a long and complicated history of lineups, breakups and changes in style. Throughout their career, King Crimson produced a bevy of experimental albums that range from 1974's Red to '81's Discipline.     Practice is better than sweeping chimneys, which is what they were doing. "The original line-up of the band, we were all chimney sweeping together, working for this crazy acid casualty, ex-punk rock guy.
