Results for FoghatFoghat was a blues-based rock band that caused major stadium overflow in the 1970s. Foghat's lineup varied somewhat over the years, but the original membership consisted of "Lonesome" Dave Peverett on vocals and guitar, lead guitar and slide guitarist Rod Price, bassist Tony Outeda and Roger Earl on drums. Probably best known for its '70's radio hit "Slow Ride," Foghat released 15 albums throughout its career, and "Slow Ride" was reborn in the '93 comedy Dazed and Confused. From the first, self-titled album released in 1972 to 1998's "Road Cases" live album, the band's musical style changed although it kept the basic "blues/rock" core intact until the late 80's when the group did some more experimental work. In February, 2000, Dave Peverett died of cancer. Foghat re-formed with a new line-up, and lead guitarist Rod Price released his first solo album, "Open," in June, 2000....more
