Results for Don HenleyDon Henley flew high as a member if the Eagles, showcasing his talents as a singer, songwriter and drummer. After the Eagles' breakup in 1982, Henley caused global shock with his highly successful solo career. Hits like "Dirty Laundry" and "Boys of Summer" brought the artist fame throughout the '80s, and he had a massive album on his hands in '89 with The End of the Innocence. Innocence stayed on pop charts for three years running and launched a string of Henley classics including "New York Minute" and "Heart of the Matter." I'd certainly heard of the battle of Bettye LaVette, a struggle that lasted for decades and ended with the singer's triumphant comeback, but I hadn't really heard Bettye LaVette until one day fairly recently. The morning started with me putting on The Scene of the Crime, LaVette's latest disc on which she's accompanied by the Drive-By Truckers.
