Description

Roger and Ann McNamee, he a tech magnate with eclectic rock band experience [F.O.B., the Flying Other Brothers] and she, his wife, a former music professor at Swarthmore, balanced their careers with gigs in the Bay Area. Over time, they applied their musical, writing and financial acumen to the general development of great music played for the sheer pleasure of it and backed the December, 1999 Not New Year's concert [Not, because it was held on the 30th] at the Fillmore Auditorium. Chris Shaw referenced the panic preceding the rollover to 2000 in the party-animal computer and take-off on Alfred E. Newman's famous "What... me worry?" line.

Laminates, a later form of backstage access, are business card-sized passes worn around the neck usually indicating a higher rank than patches worn on lower portions of the body. The Vault collection includes many hard to find band, promoter, and stage crew examples and includes those "laminated" by the production company for the show staff and the "un-laminated" pieces that were never encased in plastic.
