During the late 1960s, as guitarist for Procol Harum, Robin Trower developed an approach which proved him equally adept at providing rhythmic spacing devices as well as beefy lead guitar work within the context of their keyboard dominated instrumentation. When he formed his own band in the early 1970s, this experience would serve him well, allowing him to push the limited boundaries of the power trio format, by playing rhythm and lead guitar in a virtually simultaneous…entire summary

    To Anonymous 6/4/09: Robin Trower may have been unknown to YOU in August, 1975, but, since "Bride of Sighs" had been out for over a year at that point, I really wouldn't call Robin Trower "unknown."

    Have been enjoying Robin every since Live back in the 70's. Remember riding around on Saturday night with a cooler listening to Trower on King B. 32 years ago now and it still holds up

    I recall seeing this show with the CARS opening in Boston. They were
    booed and bashed off the stage after 2.5 numbers. I remember being
    pissed at sound problems with the in city dreams cuts. However Sombody
    Calling has definitely grown on me. Miss James Dewar God rest his soul
    Robin always delivers. Davey Pattison does the Dewar flavored numbers
    justice. Robin always signs guitars etc. (from a Lincoln recently after a smokin Berkely performance center gig.
