REO Speedwagon

With a nonstop touring schedule that began in 1971, REO Speedwagon boasts a cross-decade, multi-generation fan following. Starting out in local bars in Champaign, Illinois, the band became a major player in the '80s along side Journey and Styx, and rock fans who found the heavy metal scene too gritty appreciated these ballad-heavy rockers as they blasted out hits like "Keep on Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling." More recently, REO Speedwagon concerts host fans who've been with the band since the beginning, and these followers bring their offspring, a younger group that just can't fight the pull of old-school arena rockers.
