RatDog was originally formed as RatDog Revue, a side project of Grateful Dead singer/guitarist Bob Weir. Following the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995, RatDog became a full-time gig for Weir and its other members. In the spirit of the Dead, RatDog maintains a solid touring schedule, which keeps fans happy, and encourages their faithful to record RatDog concerts with their own gear.
