"70's POP at it's BEST! Eric Carmen and The Raspberries were in their prime during this tour. One more album in 1974 and they were done. Eric Carmen continued as a great solo artist throughout the '70's and eighties. Cleveland Rocks!!!!!

Attended their Reunion concerts here in Cleveland in November, 2004, New Years' eve 2004, July 2005 and December 2007. They are simply he best power pop band ever! They are better today at 58 than they were at 25. Great sound, stage presence and superb backing musicians. Buy the cd/dvd set "Raspberries: Live on Sunset Strip", recorded in October of 2005 at the L.A. House of Blues and be sure to get the full concert version of the dvd. You won't be disappointed.

Just really getting into these guys after buying the "Raspberries Greatest" disk. What an underrated band. Their material sticks in your head like "Pet Sounds," "Revolver" or anything comparable. This is smart, sophisticated pop that vacillates between simple and complex - often at the same time. Their short tenure together followed by an enduring, re-discovered legacy is a testament to how misunderstood they were for their time. Just like Brian Wilson sang, in many ways these guys just "weren't made for these times."
