"Susie Q" originally came out in 1957 by the original author Dale Hawkins. CCR played it while in the first line-up called "The Golliwogs" and then released July 1968 on first LP. QMS were playing it in 1965/1966

What a great time it was. Amazing how far music has slipped since these bands played. Music has no soul any more. Even though Quicksilver was a fairly young band in 66 they still sound like they mean it.

There was not enough credit given to David Frieburg for his proficient bass playing.

What a beautiful melody Gold and Silver is. Duncan and Cipollina were at their intertwining best even though they were in their "formative and developmental" stage.
