Quicksilver was always my favorite from the first time I saw them in 1966 to the last in Oct. 1970 at an epic show called "Three Bands, Three Bucks" at the Winterland. Johnny's guitar seemed to have a direct wire into my brain. This is pretty good stuff, the amazing part is how they kept getting better.

Chips was @ his best when the Airplane was on the bill too. There was a friendly rivalry between the bands and they used to sabatoge each others sets occasionally.

The song "What about me" is from the 70's as is "Fresh Air" though the LOTR mid-song banter was cool . Thank you Wolfgang for finding this high quality concert for us to enjoy for FREEEEEEE !
