At the dawn of the 1970s, aspiring singer-songwriter, Jon Pousette-Dart began building his reputation on the New England coffeehouse circuit. Performing solo acoustic, he initially attracted a following with his captivating voice and his lyrical sketches of romantic adventure. Soon teaming up with John Troy, the duo became a popular fixture on the Cambridge music scene, before recruiting multi-instrumentalist songwriter, John Curtis, into the fold.     god,...listening to this, brought me back to the good old times,i'm only 58 years old.it had to be 30/35 years... i remember these guys,i was loaded, and it was in warwick r.i. out doors c.c.r.i sringfest. and i was standing next to a guy who had a disco suck's t-shirt on.. one of the guys up on stage pointed the shirt out,and was yelling out- disco suck's. i was stoned and thought he was pointing at me,and i had something to do with disco sucking. i kind of felt like i was important or something because i allways wore my freak flag high.pousette dart band rocked..to me they had a big place with the change of times, they played great music and help prolong,(at least for that week)disco. anybody else at that one?

    Great band! Remember seeing them at the University Of New Hampshire with Richie Furay and Roger McGuinn, great show. 'Amnesia' and 'County Line' back to back, two of my Pousette-Dart favs.
