Tax Season Blues

Playlist Description

Feeling down and out this tax season? You're not the only one, nor are you the first one. Nor, most likely, are you the richest one; that honor would probably go to one of the British tax exiles like The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Sting, Ozzy Osbourne, or The Spice Girls, among others. Having "enough money" may be completely relative, but around this time of year we all seem to agree that the government doesn't deserve all that much of OUR money. So here are a few tunes to help you chase the tax season blues away because, sometimes, sympathy is the best medicine. Here's to hoping you find solace in such questions as Jonathan Edwards,' "If I give you all my money, can I keep the rest?"

NOTE: Hendrix's "Tax Free" doesn't really get started until about 2 minutes and 20 seconds into the song...unless you love the sounds of tuning, you may want to fast forward a bit.
