Slow Burning Blues

With things taken at a less frantic pace, the grooves are gooier and the solos more emotive on these slow blues tunes, evoking some of the lowest lows imaginable. But the musicians here - whether authentic bluesmen and women, psychedelic rockers, or jazz artists - also use that baseline as a jumping off point for the searing heights of sublimation. So if there's an answer to the question "How blue can you get?" within this mix, it's "not so bad that the blues can't fix it."
