This playlist of Neil Young songs and performances throughout his career includes live tracks by Neil with Crazy Horse, CSNY, the Stray Gators, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and The Band; there are also a handful of Young cover songs thrown in. 1 - 3.
Neil Young and Crazy Horse, 3/6/70
After his initial stint with CSN, Young went in a loud-and-barely-in-tune rock and roll direction with Crazy Horse. Miles Davis played before them on this night, which may have made the group a little more beautifully reckless than usual.
4 - 10.
CSNY, 6/4/70 - 6/6/70
From the legendary 6-night run that the Four Way Street live album was recorded, these sets capture the supergroup on the heels of Deja Vu's success and at a time when all four were working on solo albums. Each night began with an acoustic set, followed by an electric set.
11 - 13.
This concert was part of a Sheriff's Benefit to raise awareness for prisoner issues with Crosby and Nash billed as the headliners. Young made a guest appearance and got a chance to try out some of the material he was working on for Harvest.

15 - 17.
This was another surprise reunion that took place during a Manassas concert. It was the first time all four musicians had shared a stage since 1970.
18 - 20.
On the final US night of their first full-blown reunion tour since 1970, the guys played for almost five hours. The tour marked the end of the supergroup's golden era.
