Playlist Description

This fortunate partnership started in 2009 when both artists were asked to perform at NYC's Housing Works. The gig never materialized, but after bouncing around countless musical ideas, adding a brass band, and tirelessly rewriting lyrics, the album Love This Giant was born. Here are Concert Vault offerings from both Byrne and St. Vincent, including a 1982 interview with Byrne, the Talking Heads live from CBGB in '77, and video of St. Vincent performing at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall.
