Concert Summary

Pink Floyd's 1977 tour is widely considered to be one of the band's most memorable. Following the truly massive sales of Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here, the Animals album had not been as commercially successful, but the group's popularity was at an all-time peak. The tour sold out arenas and stadiums across North America and Europe, eclipsing all previous scale and attendance records. The tour was also the first since 1972 that the group did not use backing singers, with the only…entire summary

In 1985 roger played pro's and con's of hitchiking. I saw it at the oakland colisuim ca. By far the greatest concert ever!!!! All I ever did was go to concerts so I know. Only the wall in la could top it. I missed it by a few years, only 11 He went all out. It was so intense my brother refused to leave his seat to piss-- he drank a lot. That's how good. If they ever get something on this site of that tour check it out. Roger waters is too underated and hated for killing pink ha. Amused to death in its entirety would be the greatest we have hope come on roger. It would be even better if gilmour and the boys joined him. Or beck or clapton. and that's the truth as I see it. blessed

I was born in the wrong goddamn decade. Maybe with enough "help" I could time travel back. Man, what I wouldn't give to see Gilmour rip those solos.

I saw this tour at Soldier Field in Chicago. If I recall correctly, and given the vodka soaked watermelon I'm not sure that I remember it all right, they did play Dark Side of the Moon, Animals and Wish You Were Here in the same order as the tracks on the albums, one album at a time. What a great show to see as a 16-year-old!

Hey Anonymous who saw Pink Floyd in Cleveland... that is total BS. PF never played all three albums in their entirety at that show. But I'd sure love to know what drugs you tookto create that illusion - sounds like a good 'un.

I used to sit at the park and get stoned with my pal jimmy and he would tell me about all the days on the green. But my favorite were the 77 show at oakland 2 years before mom let me go to my first concert do'h I was 11. But the wall in la would have been the greatest show of all. Stuck outside the wall in la sorry annonymous. But atleast you can say you were there. peace
