Concert Summary

John was the cynic, George was the quiet one, Ringo the clown, and Paul the cute one. These traits were commonly accepted, but belied the depth of character possessed by each of the four members of the Beatles. As his creative influence had come to dominate the Beatles in the studio while the others' interest waned, Paul was poised for a smooth transition into a solo career. From his early homespun…entire summary

saw this tour in cleveland - the set list was pretty much the same although i seem to recall them opening with "got to get you into my life" - "hey jude" was incredible with 90,000 fans singing right along - my seats were right on the field so we had a great view, though it was hotter than hell - interesting that this was the first american tour since woa and he played hardly any wings songs - i was really hoping to hear "venus and mars/rockshow" - on the woa tour he played hardly any beatles songs - anyway, i feel fortunate to have seen him live while linda was still with us - my favorite song of the night was "things we said today" - that one took me by complete surprise - great show and an experience i will never forget

these last few tours have been nirvana-never understood why he stopped touring the US after the incredible 1976 WOA jaunt. He may not be god but hes one of the all time greatest songwriters, singers & performers in the history of music.
