Concert Summary

"I think everyone loves the live (performance) because it's spontaneous," said guitarist Pat Travers, around the time this King Biscuit show was recorded. "The audience drives me on. I react, and I think the listener reacts to it because it is live. Human beings have to feel that they're there." Although this show was recorded in an intimate theater in West Palm Beach, Florida, on March 26, 1984, it was heard by millions of human beings - or rock loving fans, to be more specific - when it was originally broadcast over 500…entire summary

Hey Beast, That's Rock & Roll. What did you do to try to recoup?

This sounds great. I think I saw PT with this band. In fact i know I Did. The 2nd guitar player's hair was so Farrah Fawcett, and the drummer was no slouch.. Pat Marchino was no Tommy Aldridge, but nevertheless he had power, meter, and flash. I remember the flash. Kinda like Journey's Deen Castronovo. That was a good show. This is a good show.

PT is no longer the drunk he was during his 80s downward spiral. He has always been a top notch guitar player and recently has been very busy making great music for his many fans! Pat has always been under rated and he has always had a large dedicated fan base.If you are one of his dedicated fans, check out his more current stuff, I think you are going to like. PT rocks always! golfglenn so-cal fan of 25 years!

Most assuredly one of the world's greatest electric bluesmen and the best keep secret. It doesn't get any better than Pat Travers.

I think that (bad) behavior was the result of a lot of pain after he stepped in to replace (I think) Ozzy Osborn in Miami after an accident kept them away. He tried to do the right thing by his fellow artists and the "business" people were just thinking about the $. I think this left him a little jaded and maybe angry.

I guess I tend to hold a grudge.

Was a big fan until my band opened a show for him in El Paso in 1989. He was extremely shit-faced, and maybe as a result, a douche. His soundman then proceded to blow the diaphrams out of our cabinets. They wouldn't pay to replace them and skipped out of town after trashing the green room.

One of the most underrated in the business. Pat Travers is ROCK and ROLL!
