Bob Marley and the Wailers took their Babylon by Bus tour to Asia and the Oceania in 1979. This was the first time New Zealand, Australia, and Honolulu were truly introduced to the reggae sound. A little over one year later, Marley would unfortunately play his last concert ever. This original program features pictures, reviews, articles, and promotional material for the 1979 tour.
Much like theatrical playbills, programs have been used at concerts since the 1900s. With information on bands and their members, it gives the concertgoer a chance to get to know the musicians they have paid money to see. The Vault's exceptional collection of programs range over four decades from venues around the world.
