British-born, Thom Yorke, Collin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, Phil Selway and Jonny Greenwood were first popular in the States, achieving substantial home-praise in '93 with the re-release of single, 'Creep.' Touring dervishes, the band opened for R.E.M.'s Monster tour. Radiohead reflects influences from Nirvana, R.E.M. and even U2 but has melded those styles into its own classic-rock-of-the-future sound.
