I saw this tour at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, Nils was the opening act for the Kinks. I had always loved the Byrds song "Goin Back", but after Nils' version, I sat there picking my jaw up off the floor. What a show, this turned me into a superfan. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of seeing Nils until I saw him a ton of times with The Boss. Great performer--maybe he will put a band together and tour again. Here's hoping!!!

I saw Nils about 20 years ago playing a solo acoustic set. I was always a fan but he defined rock and roll for me on that night.

Saw Nils, Rory Gallagher and Tom Petty at leeds uni within weeks of each other in the 1976. It gets no better than that.

Nils motive for writing "Keith Don't go" wasn't about him leaving the Stones, it had to do with Keith proposing to ignore a threat from Canadian authorities to arrest him on drugs possession charges if the band went on a scheduled tour there.

Saw Nils 7 weeks after this concert at Trinity College in the Washington Room (standing only 300-400 people max, my buds and I were elbows on the stage). Nils and band exploded onto stage with Rock and Roll Crook .... SO ELECTRIC .... hooked then and forever. Wish he would blow off the Boss but heard him last week in an interview and Nils absolutely loves his gig with Springsteen

Nils can flat out play the guitar. I saw Nils three times in the 70's and this show is as good as it gets.
