    Great show, and LOL at the comment in the summary about Kenny Wayne Shepard...yep, he sucks. That shit is what I call Nerf Blues; it just doesn't have the raw power and soul of the masters like Muddy, The Wolf, Hound Dog et al. Got Blues?

    absolutely outstanding. when you consider how many incredible shows just pass away into the memories of the attendees, you realize what a blessing it is to be able to listen to this. "can't lose..." "i'll go crazy" "sweet sixteen" and "don't answer the door" are highlights, but this show cooks from beginning to end. in the top 10 vault shows, it has to be...

    this is ridiculously good. haven't heard it all the way through yet, but the first few tracks (aside from showing muddy at his absolute pre-car-wreck peak) have maybe the best george harmonica smith performances i have ever heard, and i have probably all his recorded albums, and the 1971 muddy live dvd (and the "lost tapes cd). this set smokes it all. thanks again for this incredibly invaluable resource.
