Concert Summary

Motorhead is the tough guy bar band. Their mix of burly biker leanings and fast, furious, heavy, blues-laced rock is nothing short of what it might feel like to shank yourself in the face. Absurd and brutish, you got to hand it to them for leaving the audience refreshed. The late '70s was a groundbreaking era in terms of the declaration of speed and thrash metal, and Motorhead was holding it down at the forefront. But in the early '80s, things rounded an…entire summary

the only metal band worth paying for tour after tour (metallica is a close second)-this club was the best NYC had to offer back in the heavy metal 80s (Limelight was a close second).die hard fans hated robertson but i think this album was their last great studio release

Thanks for letting us know about the error, Avon. I'll make the correction to the summary. Thanks again! Angie from Concert Vault

As a Brooklynite, I gotta beg ... er, threaten you to change the error in the text - L'amour was never in "Queens" but in Bay Ridge Brooklyn ("Saturday Night Fever" territory). And I saw the Ramones there, so I know it could never have existed 2 seconds in Queens.

Although Brian Robertson(ex-Thin Lizzy) was a great fairy with his satin shorts, headband and band-aids this was my 2nd favorite Motorhead lp (behind "No Sleep'Till Hammersmith). A fantastic mix of raw dirty hard rock mixed with some unbelievable lead guitar from Robertson. Pity 'Head fans werent more tolerant him.

Caught them in a Small bar in Rochester NY back in 1981-82. My ears are still ringing!
