Motley Crue

A musical genre defined by a can of Aqua Net, "hair bands" were a thing of the 1980s fueled by monster ballads and Jack Daniels. One of the greatest hair bands to grace metal music was Motley Crue. Nikki Six, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil were the four original members whose early days in Motley Crue lived out every stereotype of a rockstar. From cross-dressing to cocaine use, Motley Crue did it all. The band had its biggest album with 1989's Dr. Feelgood which had several "it" singles including "Kickstart My Heart" and "Without You." In 2001, Motley Crue issued The Dirt, a tell-all autobiography littered with tales of chicks, hard liquor and tattoos.
