This sounds great. I see some have speculated who the band was. I would love to see an official listing. Really curious who was on the Sax. Sounds like Lenny Pickett but as far as I can tell they never played together. I'm sad I missed this one. Was living in L.A. in '85 and went to a bunch of great shows at the Wiltern.

I remember this from the Biskit hour concert played on BBC Radio1 many years ago, managed tape it and played it over and over again what a great concert such vocal quality and what agreat band. You cant get many bands to play this greta live lets face it how many bands can play live these days. I wish this was able to be downloaded from the net i would be in my element

Hi has a wonderful voice, surely the doobie brothers are missing a lot as well every fan of the group,
l think he was the soul of the group, in spite of that the group is doing it fine.

@cynbell - don't know for sure, but the timeline on his official site lists Robben Ford, Edgar Winter, George Perilli, Willie Weeks and Brian Mann for his first solo tour (1982) and then says that in 1985 his friend Chuck Sabatino joined the band on keyboards...most likely replacing Winter, I'd guess.

Michael Mc Donald @ the height of his powers, great show, anyone know who the band was.

Please make this one available for download. Mid 80s did not get much better then Michael McDonald's voice and rhythms.

    Thanks WolfGang!

A memorable night at the Wiltern, and Kenny G was the warmup act. It is so great to relive this fantastic concert 25 years later! Michael McDonald continues to produce quality shows to this day.
