I suspect that Misplaced Childhood is a classic record most Americans don't know about. Fish's writing struck a nerve in most listeners and this concert proved that they could pull it off live, too. These guys never got the credit they deserved.

Great band; i never got the chance to see them live with Fish (twice with Hogart here in Mexico City) so these live recordings are so precious to me, cause i get to feel what the "live experience" was like with one of my favourite bands. Thanks.

I saw them do Miss placed Childhhod in its entirty. They were the opening act for Rush (1982). They were far better than Rush. I wish Fish never left though.

This was a great concert- I saw them live on this tour and the theatrics were fantastic. They are such talented musicians- aside from some live music license, everything sounds exactly like the studio recordings. I always enjoyed the Theiving Magpie and this is just another example of fine musicianship. More Marillion!

on the brief encounter and real to real cd even the locations seem to be wrong on that as well, i reckon that they just taped the whole of the british tour and cocked up the reels somewhere along the line

Enormous band, great musicians, and good years for this band with Fish (the best Marillion singer). Strong presence on stage and great songs in this years like fugazi, script and misplaced childhood (best prog cd?).

Thank you. This is amazing! What it takes to get Marillion on this server is beyond me. Keep it up!!! I admire the band that makes me feel so exhilarated even though there is such crappy times. If anyone can rip the audio and send it to me in a ZIP folder, much obliged.
