Maria McKee

Born in Los Angeles in 1964, singer/songwriter and performer Maria McKee is best known for her work as the lead vocalist and guitarist with 80s band Lone Justice. Their single "Shelter" propelled her to stardom and the opportunity to collaborate with worldwide superstars of the 80s and 90s. Less known is that she penned the song "A Good Heart" made popular on MTV by Feargal Sharkey, or that she is the sister of Love's Bryan MacLean, and covered his song "Alone Again (or)" in his honor after his passing. She also wrote the Dixie Chicks' "Am I The Only One".
