Great to see the contrast in 2 years, from a night @ Winterland and this mid day set. These old bands I find I sure do miss the days of ole. But I guess my dad could say the same, only difference is 50's and not 70's. Great guitar solo's!

Perhaps the greatest Southern rock band of all time and I was blessed to have known them!

Why is it that women think you go to a Skynyrd gig to look at their fat ass because they want to sit on their boyfriends shoulders? I've pulled more women off that way than I care to remember....

Yep - truly amazing BUT - much as I love the cute young things - what was the producer thinking of when he showed them and not the guitarist when the solos were running - aaahhhhhhhh - OK - I admit - I'm a guitarist :P

Damn! I love these videos but I hate how they remind me that i missed the best musical time ever. The 70's had it all, the guitar was king, hot chicks were everywhere, and Bill Graham always knew exactly what the people wanted.

Speaking of Sweet Home Alabama & Neil Young, notice Ronnie has the cover of Neil's album on his t shirt !

These guys are just an absolutely amazing band. If anyone has not seen these guys perform live you are really missing a treat. I saw them two years ago after much doubt that this Band had anything left, but since Marshall Tucker was on the bill with them I figured it wouldn't be a total loss...they just freakin' blew me away. I will be seeing them again this summer and I can't wait!!

first time I heard this I was painting a vacating apt. in my dads building. I was pissed that they said a southern man doesn't need him around anyhow, I'm a huge Neil Young fan and always have been, but this song doesn't allow you to stand still and I was blown away and wonder'n who is this guy leonard skinnard insulting my all time hero, and doing it with such a great song.

I had tickets in hand for this tour, at RFK Stadium in Philadelphia/Washington, I forget. This when the plane crash occured. I beleive it was skynyrd, blue oyster cult and Zepplin. I bought tickets for the sones the same day, 15.00 buckes, can you imagine, 15 bucks to see the stones. where have all the good times gone???????????

Thank you Wolfgang for posting these great vids. These are the kind of joy-filled concert experiences that united our generation. A time when the average 16 to 25 year old had true access to great tickets at a resonable cost. A time when the love of the music and the spirit of moment reigned supreme.

This was most definitely a Skynyrd crowd. By the time Peter Frampton came on, many had already gone home. It was a long day, with Santana, Outlaws, Skynyrd, and then Frampton. Not much crowd energy left after Skynyrd, even though Frampton did a good job.
