Ed King's great leads!!!!!! He looks pretty polluted, however.

Yes, no Billy, but I hardly missed him. Just the presence of Ronnie, front & center, was good enough for me. People who watch this are viewing some classic stuff!!! OUTSTANDING concert footage!! Ronnie Van Zant can never be replaced! Best front man ever!!! RIP my friend!!!

No Billy because he punched out a window at the SF Airport earlier that day, he had a badly cut hand and couldn't play. Fingers did a great job playing his parts on harmonica, I was 4 feet from the stage that night!

Yea, no Billy...I'm pretty sure this was the night Ronnie punched Billy in the mouth/nose for saying "F-You, Ronnie" sometime before the show and so Billy said "I ain't playing tonight!". Freebird ain't the same without him, that's for sure. I'm also pretty sure this was one of Ed King's last shows...too bad. He was a bitchin' guitarist. Great bite to his attack! Crisp & piercing. This show was truly one of their finest---and no overdubs!
