This show was recorded only a year after Loverboy was formed in Toronto, in early 1980. Signed immediately to Columbia Records and signed to producer Bruce Fairbain, the group released its debut album and quickly scored huge radio hits: "Turn Me Loose," and "The Kid Is Hot Tonight."

This show, recorded just as the band was releasing its sophomore LP, Get Lucky, marks one of Loverboy's many King Biscuit Flower Hour appearances, and although cut…entire summary

    I remember hearing the "when it's over/so emotional when this originally aired back in the early 80's on King Biscuit. The contest they had in the song "so emotional" is what I have always remembered all these years. Funny the memories that stick in your head from your youth. I was 15 at the time.

    I seen them in the summer of 2008 and Let me tell you they sound justlike they did in the 80"s. I was impressed. Hit all the high notes and everything. It was a GREAT concert. Talk about bringing you back to your teenage years.

    Even though I was 12 at the time they came out... Thank God for Loverboy, Thank you Wolfgang for the memories!!! I could not wait back then to hear Loverboy, thankfully each song was long enough than most and never got dull! WOW, perfect beginning to a long list of memories and more!!
